Saxon Ranger boat dives depart from the Carlisle Street boat ramp and are of about a two hour duration. Dives to the wreck occur regularly during the summer months. The wreck is in 20 meters of water and is a great dive for both beginner and expert alike.
Scuttled in 2003 the Saxon Ranger, also known as the Atlantic Seal is a 40 meter long ex Atlantic side trawler.

Rottnest Island
Rottnest dives depart from Fremantle on Lionfish V, this is a 24 meter surveyed passenger vessel and can speed you to Rottnest Island in comfort. There are three toilets and showers on board as well. After lunch a rest for a little while and then the second dive of the day.

Rockingham departure point
The departure and return point for dives to both the Saxon Ranger wreck dive and the Shoalwater Islands Marine Park is located about 20 meters to the East of the Carlisle Street boat ramp in Safety Bay. After dropping off your gear park your car in one of the side streets, do not leave cars parked in the boat ramp area.
Pick up of divers is from the beach and the ride to the dive site only takes a few minutes so have your wetsuit on and your gear assembled.
