Congratulations on choosing the Bell Scuba Emergency First Response Course. Emergency First Response is a basic training course in emergency first aid.Through study and hands-on training you will learn the skills to enable you to render first aid to life threatening medical emergencies at the scene.As well as the usual first aid skills you will learn to use an Automated External De-fibulator and Oxygen delivery equipment to render emergency care.The standard Emergency First Response course is run over one day and is conducted monthly. The workplace accredited Emergency First Response course is run over two days.

Qualification

Upon successful completion of this course, graduates will learn to function with one consistent set of priorities in a medical emergency. By learning the same priorities of care and approach used by the professionals there is a continuity of care as the patient is passed on to paramedic, nurse and doctor.
