THE BELL SCUBA REFRESHER COURSE
Update your knowledge and skills!
Congratulations on choosing the Bell Scuba Review Course. This experience is aimed at certified divers who have had an extended period of diving inactivity (more than 6 months).During the confined water session and dive you will review all the skills from your Open Water course and polish your buoyancy control through skills practice.
Qualification
Upon successful completion of this course, graduates will be able to take part in any shop led diving activities.
Open Water Dives
The confined-water skills review session will cover all the skills from the SSI Skill Evaluation, with major focus on proper weighting and buoyancy control. The open water dive provides you with the comfort of supervised diving as well as an environmental orientation for a particular area.
Knowledge Development Module
The knowledge session will review the Scuba Tune up questions. The Scuba Tune Up knowledge review must be completed prior to commencement of the course.
Course Includes
- 1 Confined Water session,
- 1 Open Water dive,
- 1 Knowledge Development session,
- air fills, and Scuba Tune Up Knowledge Review Sheets.
Required Equipment
All personal diving equipment; mask, fins, snorkel, cylinder, BCD, regulator, alternate air source, SPG, weight system, appropriate exposure protection, depth gauge, compass and timing device. (Hire of equipment can be arranged at preferential rates).
In addition you are also required to have cutting device, whistle and slate.
The session will include an inspection of the participant’s personal equipment. After this equipment review, recommendations will be made for rigging, repair or replacement, if needed. This session will be concluded with an opportunity to become familiar with equipment preferred for local diving and new diving equipment.
