Decompression Procedures and Advanced Nitrox

Air or Nitrox Decompression Diving to 50 msw

Congratulations on choosing the Bell Scuba Decompression Procedures and Advanced Nitrox Course. The objective of this course is to train you how to plan and conduct standard staged decompression dives using the most common equipment requirements, gear set-ups, decompression techniques and decompression mixtures (including oxygen and nitrox) to a maximum depth of 45 msw.

Student Pre-Requisites

Minimum age of 18. Minimum of 50 open water dives with at least 10 over 30 msw, in the environment in which the course is being conducted.

Qualification

Upon successful completion of this course, graduates may engage in decompression diving activities in environmental conditions similar, or better to those undertaken during training as well as use any Oxygen/Nitrogen mixture as a breathing or decompression gas. They may also participate in the :

TDI Extended Range Diver Course (Air/Nitrox to 55 msw).
TDI Entry Level Trimix Diver Course (Trimix to 60 msw)

Open Water Dives

6 dives.

Knowledge Development Module

The knowledge sessions will review Decompression Stops versus Safety Stops, Physics, Decompression Options, Equipment Considerations, Dive Tables versus Computers, Dive Planning, and Decompression Procedures as well as all of the considerations needed to use Oxygen rich breathing mixtures.

Course Includes

TDI Decompression Procedures Diver Manual, TDI Advanced Nitrox manual, TDI Certificate and Certification Card, 6 dives, cylinder fills, use of Decompression tables and knowledge development sessions.

Course Excludes

The cost of boat dives and decompression gas, if required.The course can be completed with no additional charges if required.

Course cost

$700 plus gas , plus boat, based on a class of four persons.
