Semi-Closed Rebreather

No Decompression Diving to 22 msw with the Ray or 40 msw with the Dolphin

Congratulations on choosing the Bell Scuba Semi-Closed Rebreather Course. The objective of this course is to provide no decompression divers training and experience in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures to utilize the Dräger Nitrox Semi-Closed Rebreathers Dolphin/Atlantis or Ray.

Student Pre-Requisites

Minimum age of 15 and certification as a TDI Nitrox Diver or equivalent (this program may be combined with the Nitrox Diver Course).

Qualification

Upon successful completion of this course, graduates may engage in recreational diving activities using the Dolphin to 40 msw or 22 msw if trained on the Ray.

Open Water Dives

4 dives with a minimum accumulated bottom time of 100 minutes.

Knowledge Development Module

The knowledge session will review the History & Evolution of Rebreathers, Open Circuit versus Closed Circuit versus Semi-Closed Circuit, Practical Mechanics of the System, Gas Physiology, Formula Work, Dive Tables, Dive Computers and Dive Planning.

Course Includes

TDI Semi-Closed Rebreather (Dolphin/Ray) Diver Manual, TDI Certificate and Certification Card, 4 dives using either the Dolphin or the Ray, provision of Nitrox, Air fills and Canister Absorbent, use of custom Nitrox tables and knowledge development sessions.
